Enjoy the challenges of teacher training in the idyllic retreat destination of Koh Phangan, Thailand. Featured prominently in Alex Garland's 1997 novel "The Beach", and famous for its full moon parties, the West Coast of this tropical paradise boasts pristine and beautiful beaches, snorkeling and dive spots in clear blue waters, captivating waterfalls, and secret hiking trails through dense jungle. With our new residential format, students have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while immersing in the intensity of YogaWorks world renowned teacher training program. It's the perfect recipe for transformation as you can make it as adventuresome or as monastic as you like. With Oliver and Alicia's love for Thailand and the great outdoors there is no better way to enrich your experience been to learn to live, love and play together at this tropical island paradise

Oliver and Alicia have traveled and taught yoga in Asia for over a decade. The two have studied various forms of yoga and have over 30 years combined yoga experience. Oliver completed the Yoga Works teacher training with Lisa Walford and Maty Ezraty in 1999, and released his "Feel Good Yoga" DVD in 2005. Apart from teaching yoga, Alicia has also studied and taught Pilates and is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalists and nutritional counselor. Presently they live and teach yoga on a rural island in Japan, occasionally traveling and facilitating teacher trainings, workshops, and surfing Safari's. Together their broad base of yoga and wellness knowledge combined with their friendly nature ensure that students will have a rich, rewarding and joyful experience.

Students will stay in either single, or double Thai huts with mosquito netting, private porches and hammocks to relax in. Cozy and exceptionally clean, these lovely Thai style huts are kept bright with skylights in the main room and bathroom. Three meals a day are included in your stay. All meals are cooked with fresh, locally grown organic ingredients and are vegetarian with an occasional seafood entrée.
